An Open Letter to the Students and Faculty of Rutgers University

According to FOX News, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice “announced Saturday that she will not be delivering the commencement address at Rutgers University’s graduation ceremony this month, saying the invitation has become a ‘distraction.'”

Commencement should be a time of joyous celebration for the graduates and their families. Rutgers’ invitation to me to speak has become a distraction for the university community at this very special time,” the former secretary of state under President George W. Bush said in the statement. – FOX News

Congratulations, you are morons and, apparently, racists. I hope the parents of these graduating students recognize the deep cesspool they have poured their tuition money down because of a university faculty and staff that will honor SNOOKI but not the first black woman Secretary of State who actually overcame the prejudices of the pre-Civil Rights Acts south to become a woman of education, stature, and integrity. She has the kind of life story President Obama wishes he had but doesn’t.

Is this what we have to look forward to in our universities … self-absorbed, asinine “professors” who teach college students that it’s okay to intimidate and ban people you disagree with? What a sad, sad commentary.

Shame on Rutgers. Shame on their stupidity. Shame on their “professors” and students. Shame on the political climate that is supporting this kind of moronic behavior. Our entire country should be embarrassed by this.

Curious, isn’t it, that a Nevada rancher can be tarred and feathered for clumsy comments regarding government policies that have hurt the African-American community while an “open minded” liberal university can effectively ban/demand the commencement speech invitation to an  exceptionally capable, distinguished African-American woman be rescinded and no one bats an eye?

Double DemoLib standard? What say you?
