Well, shoot. I couldn’t help it.
Following today’s House vote to over-turn President Lawless’s lawlessness on immigration policy, I noticed that our very own pseudo House member, Rep. Derek Kilmer, voted No on a bill that provides almost $40 billion to finance the Homeland Security Department through the rest of the budget year. Also in the bill are provisions rolling back President Oops’s actions on immigration.
Thought I’d drop Derek a quick line on his vote. It goes like this:
Message Subject: Please Explain Your No Vote
Dear Rep. Kilmer:
I see that you voted against rolling back President Obama’s executive over-reach on immigration in the House vote of 14 January 2015. Please explain. Thank you.
I’ll let you know when I receive a response. (Yeah. That’s what I think, too.)
If you’re wondering how the roll call vote panned out state by state, see yours truly on How Did Your Representative Vote on Executive Amnesty? For additional background, also see yours truly on: House Votes to Cancel Obama’s Executive Amnesty.
Join us tomorrow for Deaths From Police Shootings, ‘Our Time,’ and Other Conundrums. Followed by FRIDAY FUN: Uncle Karl and Brontosaureses. (Did I spell that right? 🙂 ) We’ll have a guest post up on Monday related to the current legislative session in Olympia. Hopefully.
